Applications are now being accepted by the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta to the Community Priorities and the Henry S. Varley Fund for Rural Life grants programs.
The Community Priorities Fund is the Community Foundation’s largest granting program. Through two annual calls for applications, this fund will distribute over $500,000 this year to charities and other qualified donees throughout Southwestern Alberta. Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021.
The Henry S. Varley Fund for Rural Life supports projects and initiatives from community organizations committed to sustaining a high quality of life throughout rural Southwestern Alberta. This fund grants to rural projects that demonstrate or provide innovation, community collaboration, education, and training. Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021.
